Hi, I’m Ana Neagu

I am a self-taught surface pattern designer from Romania, creating seamless patterns for wallpaper, fabrics, and home decor.

My work explores decorative surface patterns that combine botanical motifs, clean geometric structure, and balanced color palettes. I enjoy moving between elegant, refined designs and more playful patterns, depending on the mood and idea behind each piece.

Rather than following a single fixed aesthetic, I explore different scales, compositions, and color palettes while maintaining a consistent sense of line, rhythm, and visual balance.

Most of my patterns are created digitally, often starting with pencil sketches that I later refine and digitize. I enjoy combining hand-drawn elements with clean vector structure.

I am especially drawn to designing patterns for wallpaper and interior textiles, creating designs intended for real interior spaces.

What began as a passion has evolved into something more — a creative process where sketches, inspiration from nature, and digital drawing come together to form seamless patterns.

Where Ideas Begin

Many of my patterns start with simple observations — a plant, a shape, or a small detail noticed in nature. I sketch these ideas to explore rhythm and composition before moving into the digital stage.
